BaBy LoVe

Jason and I got a shock January 11, 2011. It was a snow day at school and I had a sneaking suspicion that maybe something was growing. :) But, then, I really didn't think we could possibly be pregnant. So, Jason and I braved the snowy roads and took a test. It didn't take anytime for two pink lines to come up. Jason and I were shocked, but we didnt know what to do with our joy! We were so excited! We hugged and giggled. To say we were surprised is an understatment. Even though we were planning for later, God was ready for baby Campbell to arrive. We were so thankful that we could even concieve so easily and so happy for the prospect of a great new year!

Here are some pics of my growing belly. I laugh back at early pictures now because i thought I was huge. Just wait :) I got sick a few times, but I was queasy all the time. The only thing that I ever wanted to eat was a McDonald's Coke, Subway Turkey sandwich with LOTS of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cucmbers. I think I consumed more turkey sandwiches in this baby's first 20 weeks than I ever did my whole life!

10 weeks:

11 Weeks:
Cooking meat made me so sick. Jason couldn't help but snap this picture... thx babe.

I am so thankful for this baby :)

A Campbell Christmas Story

Jason and I are two blessed people. God has been so good to us. Christmas is definitely my all time favorite time of year! I think I am more excited about the Christmas things like the food, decorating, shopping, and family even more than I am about Christmas Day. :) Here are some pictures from the celebrations we got to enjoy!

This was our table setting. I loved it! Most of it was hand-me-downs from my mom! :)

Jason's mom's family came of Thursday night to celebrate. She always spoils us rotten! I am such a giant compared to his family! :)

I am so lucky to call him my husband. He is sooo cute!

He is so good to me!

This is Jason's sister Jessica (aka Kiki) and her boyfriend Brad. They are such a sweet couple!

Jason had to work Christmas Night, so we decided to open Christmas gifts Christmas Eve morning so he could sleep all of Christmas morning. His surprise gift was a personalized garage sign. He got a bunch of other things, but I think this was his favorite.

My surprise gift, well there were a few others, but Jason got me a matching coach purse AND wallet! Wow! I have never had a matching purse and wallet. I love it!

On Christmas Eve night we go to Jason's grandma's and they have a huge party. There are so many of us. After that, we celebrate with his Dad. We opened presents at 10:00 and have bbq sandwiches. It is kind of weird, but one of my favorite traditions. I love his dad so much. Buddy is such good dad to both me and Jason.

This is Jason and me with his dad Buddy and Buddy's wife Tracey.

Buddy got me this really cool wall collage. I put our wedding pics in it, but I am not sure it will stay this way. I loved this gift.

Jason is a real handy man. He can usually fix most things and if he can't, his dad can. Buddy always gets Jason tools and this year he got a massive air compresser.

We spent Christmas Day with my mom. Our family is huge! Especially when you take in a husband, boyfriend, fiance and three dogs that are treated like people! :)
My mom got most of us electronic gifts. Jason and I got Ipod touches. We are now cool! I really really really love mine! She also spoiled us with other gifts too and GREAT food!
Because there are so many siblings in my family, we draw names. I love that we do this because it takes a lot of stress and it is so much fun! Luke got Jason's name. He is obsessed with treasure hunting. So, he made jason a little scavenger hunt to find....
This, an industrial sized shop vac. Jason got it out Monday, and it is massive and great for the garage!
Here is mom opening up her gifts. Jason and I got her a sweater , some jewelry, photo frames and a wall collage! I love the look on my sister's face in this picture.
The day after Christmas Katie and I braved the mall crowds to find a few good deals. We did! Jerel, Mom and I decided to go to Edinburg Outlets too.
Yesterday, my grandma took Jason, my mom, my brother Jared and me to French Lick. It was amazing. This hotel was a hot spot in the 1900s and 1920s. After the crash in 1929, the hotel stopped having visitors. The owner sold it the the Jesuits for $1. I think that is unreal. I loved visiting it and this history behind it. The nerd in me wishes time travel was possible and I could visit it and brush the shoulder of Al Capone in the 20s! :)
I hope your Christmas was all you meant for it to be. I hope you had time to be with your friends and family. Most importantly, I hope you got to reflect on Jesus. Thank you for coming my savior!

Could it be?

Is it really May since my last post? ughh... so much I have missed blogging about! I want to blog, because I have a terrible memory. I want to remember this season of my life, especially when I am old and gray! Too bad gray is coming too soon... Ha! :)

Today is the first snow day of this school year. I think I am probably a bit more pumped about it than my students! Yes, for sure! I think Jason and I are going to brave the roads and do some errands. I need to...

-Go to Michaels and get all my christmas cookie ingredients/decorations
-Pick Up Jason's dad's Christmas gift
-Make corn casserole for my school's christmas party tonight

-I am thinking a chick-fil-a lunch should be on the list too!

Have a great day!

These pictures are really out of order, but they are not cooperating with me, so here is a mumbled jumbled part of the tour!
This is our bathroom! I have my own sink to put all my stuff out on when I am getting ready!
