The Worman Church

Did you know there was such a thing as the Worman church? Well, I found out today from a very informative five year old that it exists. To him, they are completely evil people!

Here is a glimpse into my world of five year olds, pencils, crayons, writing paper, and math manipulatives:

Student: "Mrs. Campbell, do you know there is such a thing as the Worman church!!! ?"
Me: "Why no, What?????"
Student: SPEAKING LOUDLY AND AS PASSIONATE AS A FIVE YEAR OLD CAN BE: "I am never, I mean never ,joining the Worman Church. They are terrbible. They dont even let you drink hot chocolate or red drinks. My mom told me all about it. My sister is getting baptized there next week, and she will never drink hot chocolate again."

Me: (Thinking, what in the world am I going to say, what warped thinking has this child been taught?) Me: Laughing so hard I can barely breathe...

Me: "Wow, I didn't know that"

I LOVE my job! :)

Today is such a cold wintry day with the snow blowing outside. I think I will put some warm pjs on, drink hot chocolate and be greatful Jesus saved me. I am so grateful I do not belong to the "worman church"

Birthday Blessings!

I hope you had a good Valentine's Day. I know it is so hard, well it was for me, when I didnt have Jason to spend and share this day with. I was praying and thinking about my single friends this day a lot- More than you will know.
I have always loved V-day, even when I was single. WhY? Because it is my birthday! I was often told I would get jipped on this day because my future husband would only get to give me one gift for two Holidays. Those people did not know I would marry Mr. Jason Micheal Campbell.
He got my some gorgeous roses! I will always melt when given flowers. period. end of story.

He also got me some of my favorite perfume from Clinique called, Happy and some really cute jewelry from Lia Sophia. I got some last year and totally loved it. It was so sweet for him to remember. He also bought me a really cute top from my all time favorite store Ann Taylor Loft.
I had a great day celebrating! We went to my Mom's for pork roast, salad, rolls, broccoli casserole and potatoes. We had hot brownie sundae's for my b-day desert. My mom even cut them in the shapes of hearts. What an awesome mom I have!

We laughed our heads off during dessert. This picture is blurry, but shows how much we were laughing!

Luke, humoring me when I am taking his picture!

Thank you LORD for my 25 years. Thank you for the people that surrounded me that day and showed me just how loved I am!

Catch-Up

It has been a little bit since blogging last, so lets get you up to date. I am sure you are dying to know whats been going on in my oh-so-fabulous life! :)
We have had a lot of snow lately! I dont think school will let out until June now...:( Jason and I have had a lot of fun together though. I love it how when God let it snow buckets, it has been on days where Jason is off. We have spent the days together. He is my favorite person to be snowed in with! We usually have been getting out in the snow and going out to eat somehow. Jason took me to the place where my new school is being built. I can't wait to move my classroom this summer! It will feel so refreshing to have new space and not walls from 1930! Here is me at the construction sight:

We watched the movie, The Time Traveler's Wife. It was strange to me. I was bummed because I was really looking forward to seeing it. I have watched a lot of Dugger's episodes though. I hope and pray their new baby comes home and is healthy soon!

Jason has done something crazy. He loves building, repairing, and creating new things. Winter has him depressed not to do something. In the future, we will need a place for him to work in the winter. Jason asked me if I would mind if he sanded a sofa table in our spare bedroom. I just shut the door because I couldnt bare to see all the dust! :) He cleaned it up, but man it was a total mess! I dont think he wants to do that again, but maybe it will help him get out of a winter slump...:) CAn you believe he did this? Don't tell our landlords!!!! :)

I am so happy to show you the next few pictures. Baby Zeb was born a few days ago. I love my new cousin already. His mom is my new hero because of the crazy difficult delivery. I pray Zeb will grow strong and be the best he was meant to be. Thank you God for this new blessing into our family!

Heart Change

So I woke up this morning and I got on the computer to look up some of my favorite stores. I wanted to get ideas for spring fashion and see if I can find something to pick out for my birthday.

Heart Change ***When I went to read a few of my favorite blogs, I was completely humbled and just a change of heart. I read Jaime's simple things blog. What a great thing to be reminded of. Then I read Beth Moore's blog from Tuesday. A man and wife team that live in Haiti wrote a special blog to her readers. Wow... there are so many people hurting and in need of the Good news I know and love... His name is Jesus. How I should take more time for Him, how I need to let Him live through me more, how my life should be hidden in Him, these are the thoughts running through my head now, not some dress I want for my birthday! I know it is okay to shop, but how thankful I am that my priorities were adjusted by reading a few blogs. I pray it will continue through the day!

Have a great, priority straight Saturday! :)

What a Weekend!

I am sorry to say, but there will be no pictures this post. My camera wasn't with me and I really hate that. Pictures make everything better, don't they?

My weekend started out great. Friday I left school and went to one of my favorite places: Hobby Lobby. I got a bunch of crafty supplies to make a diaper cake for a baby shower on Saturday. I had a great time picking out the fun stuff! I think I should be legally allowed to shop everyday. It is so therapeutic for me! Jason had to work Friday, so I went to my mom's to make the diaper cake and hang out with her. We had a great time!

Saturday I went to Chelsea's baby shower. It was a lot of fun to see family and friends. When I got home my sweet husband was cleaning the house! He even asked if he could surprise me for dessert! We went to the Cheesecake factory. :) We had such a great night!

So this morning when we woke up for church, Jason was feeling awful. He started vomiting and it was so bad, we had to go to the emergency room for a few hours. The doctor and nurses were really nice. They even gave me a heated blanket to cuddle with while Jason was getting fluids! He is feeling a little better now and is a sleep thanks to hard meds at work! I am just praying for a miracle that this sickness passes over me!

I am looking forward to tomorrow. It is an in-service day at school. No kids, so very easy day! We are having a training on reading instruction. I love getting new ideas!

I hope you had a chance to relax and love those around you this weekend!

My Bad!

Okay, so I got a little flack from my dear husband that he wasnt number one on my last post! He was only kidding, but of course, the way I listed them wasn't really in any type of particular order, so I think I should make it up to him by giving him a post all to him. And today, he is sick, so maybe this will help him feel better and more loved than he might realize.

Six Things I LOVE About Jason Micheal Campbell, *Disclaimer, these are in NO particular order, just my random thoughts! :)

1. He Loves Me
Many days I come in from work with a million things running through my head. He always listens to me. If I had a really funny story or a really frustrating day, he is always there to listen and show me he cares about my day. If I want to look really cute with a flower in my hair or wear old pants, he seems to love how I am.

2. He Works so hard! He has a hard job as an RN working third shift. I know he cares for his patients and tries to make their stay at the hospital more comfortable. This is a terrible picture of me. I am so sorry you have to look at it! THis is just the picture of him on CHristmas morning when he had to work. I loved his good attitude even though he was sad to work that day!

3. He Likes to do things with me!

It is so fun to be his best friend. Last night after we ate dinner he told me he wanted to take me out for dessert. I thought he would just want to go to clarksville (which would still be really nice) but he took me all the way to Louisville just so I could have my favorite dessert, Brownie Sundae Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. OMG_ sooo yummy. We had such a fun date night. We browsed at stores and did the old married grocery shopping thing. :)

4. I didn't realize I married Jesse Katsopolis!
Do you remember him from full house? Do you remember how he constantly worried and cared about his hair? Well that's my man! I didnt realize how important Jason's hair is to him. I think he cares as much for his hair as I do mine, and that is saying oh so much! It is always looking perfect, even if we are running a quick errand!

5. His hobbies
Jason loves yard work. He loves is Salt water fish tanks, yes TANKS! Even in our little two bedroom rental, we have two tanks and they are amazing! Jason loves to build things. Jason loves to try new things whether that be building a bird feeder or doing something crazy to our home. I never know what I will find when I come home from school on his days off!

6. He loves God.
Jason really wants to be a Godly man. He wants to be a light and share God's love. He wants to care for people, and he does. I love that part of him so very much.
I LoVe You BabE!

Happy Six Months To Us!

Six Months ago today Jason Campbell and I became Man and Wife! Here are six things I hope to always remember about that special day!

1. The Weather

I had been praying for about a year that the July weather would be unseasonably cool for my July 11th wedding. July is so hot and humid here in Indiana. July was the perfect month timing wise, but wearing my big, dream dress, I thought I would be so uncomfortable and not something I wanted to worry about on my wedding day. As God would have it, there was a cool breeze. I remember thinking how incredibly awesome the breeze was!

2. My Mother

My mom and I are so close. She was such a huge help to me throughout everything, especially the wedding. Jason and I decided to take pictures before the wedding to save time. We wanted to have just a special moment of just us before taking pictures. I will never forget the way my mom came to the dressing room and said, "Your groom is ready..." She had to biggest smile for me with a few tears of joy.

3. My Friends

My friends had such a sweet girl get together the night of my wedding. We watched Father of the Bride and had Pina Colada smoothies. It will be a special memory with me forever. My dear friend even Kim spent the night with me. Sarah got up extra early to make sure my hair was perfect. All the bridesmaids were on time and extra helpful to me. Our guests were so much more than generous with gifts. We were two spoiled kids!

4. The Ceremony

We really wanted our wedding to be the perfect mix of worshipping the Lord and celebrating our relationship as husband and wife. I loved our vows and what we said to one another. One thing I love about Jason is how steady he always his. That day when I was incredibly nervous, he just stood there smiling and holding my hand. We had a slideshow of our lives growing up and being together. It is something we will always cherish!

5. My Groom

I remember when I walked to the sanctuary my brothers swung open the doors and I saw Jason's face light up. We hugged and I couldn't stop thinking how excited I was to be marring him that day. He is all I could ever want, but so much more than that. He is the most kind and caring person I have ever met. He would do anything for me whatever the cost. He is ready to make me laugh when I feel like crying. He is my steadiness in a world full of crashing waves.

6. Our Future

As we drove off from the church to our hotel, I was really looking forward to honeymooning in Mexico. I also was excited about our future. The common things like sleeping in the same house, cooking dinner together every night, waking up to each other, watching tv, reading, just spending time together as a married couple made my heart so grateful and thankful.

Here I am six months later and more in he love with that man than six months ago. Before we got married someone told us they hoped our wedding day is the day we loved each other the least. I hope and pray that will be true for us. I pray our love would strengthen with each passing day, joy, trial, and occasion.

Happy Anniversary Jason! I love you with all my heart!
